After work today we decided to go into Calangute for dinner. Being Friday night we hoped to go out and have some fun. After the taxi dropped us we walked past tree house where we usually eat in favour of exploring. Going as far down the Calangute as we could then turning towards the beach I started to feel tired as I had worked all day so we made a deal that we'd eat at the next good place we found, we had waked past a few places just because we wanted to explore. We saw a place with loads of fairy lights and a roof made of woven palm leaves. Going inside we saw there was a tandoor oven and the food smelled great, we also saw sitting at a table the boys from Leicester! Although we had texted them they hadn't got the text, but just happened to have also picked that restaurant. We sat down at a table but it took 15 mins before they gave us a menu. We chose the food and drinks and it took another 20 mins before we even had our drinks, Vincent had to send his first one back because they had given him curdled pineapple juice, yuk L but eventually, later still, we got a selection of everything veg from the tan door to share with naan breads, of course. It was delicious in spite of the long wait, but it did mean that going out after wasn't an option as we have to work tomorrow and it was getting late. In the second odd meeting of the day the first cab we came to was Sam the taxi man, who said 'hello Vincent' as we walked past!
