Today we decided to go to a bigger town than the local one, Baga, to buy some bits we couldn't get elsewhere. Hoping for a USB modem we went around various shops but the only prepaid non contract one we could find wasn't available until October. We found a very cheap clothes shop and I got Vincent a pair of shorts, Billabong white not black ones (!), and two vest tops one blue one grey, still not black (!!) He looks very good in them too, maybe photos will follow…We were wandering around looking for somewhere for lunch and there was the usual chorus of 'taxi sir?' when one of the drivers sounded familiar, it was Sandy. He pointed us towards a great little veggie place not far away where the food was great and too filling, we shared a main course Thali but had no room for the yummy looking cakes. It seems that although fresh bread is very hard to come by in Mumbai there are quite a few bakeries in Goa.As it was Saturday night we arrange to meet up with the boys and go clubbing. We tried various places but they all wanted a huge entry fee so we went to Kamaki where the boys had been before. After a while the boys went home, they had been out quite a lot so were too tired. We decided to brave the 500rs per couple charge (oh how stingy we have become not wanting to shell out a fiver for us both to go get in!) The Iranian girls were already inside so we danced to the very western music with them and chatted loads. We also met a Swedish boy called Matt whose English was excellent except for a few minor, rather funny, slip ups. We ended up staying out for ages and learned the best place to se Elephants is Hampi so we have decided to go there when we have a day or two off.
