Another early start with the dog but at least it was much warmer this morning. Jonny, Matty and Anna weren't too far behind me and we all sat and had a hot chocolate while playing Gubs. Once Katharine and Nick were awake we had breakfast and then went for a walk, this time walking up to the top of the hill where we saw amazing views out across the dam. Back at the van we spent a couple of hours concentrating on school work but made sure we were finished by lunchtime - no one has the stamina for school after lunch!! We found a rope swing on a tree near the van and untied it for the kids to play on which occupied them for the rest of the afternoon. As they began to fight over it Nick took them off to collect more firewood so that we could spend another night around the campfire while I did some paid work for WoundsWest. We burnt every last bit of wood as it was our last night here - it's been a fantastic place to sit still and spend no money. Very relaxing!!
