Tally slept right through until ten to five and then woke me for a wee. It was just begin to get light as we went outside and the hills around us were all edged with a silver glow. There was mist on the water and the birds were going ballistic - it was very pretty. It was also very very cold and as Tally had no intention of going back to bed, I got dressed in multiple layers and we went for a walk. By the time we got back she was more then happy to nod off again so I managed to get back to bed but couldn't get warm. When the kids woke up at 730 am we all got rugged up and had hot chocolate around the campfire. Originally, we were going to move on today but then found out that this weekend was a long weekend and the end of school holidays so we have decided to stay until Tuesday as at least there is plenty of space here to accommodate big crowds. We have run out of fresh food and have a packed dirty laundry basket so Nick volunteered to go into Tamworth to get the chores done. I volunteered to stay at home and mind the dog!! All the kids wanted to go with Nick as they were desperate to spend this months pocket money so I was home alone and once I'd cleaned the van had absolutely nothing to do except read and entertain the dog!! They left at 1030 am and by 1136 I was bored!!! They eventually returned around 230pm, all very excited with the cheap toys they had bought. We spent the afternoon collecting wood for the fire and lit it around 5pm. I made a pad thai for dinner which none of the smaller kids liked so it was a good job they were full of lollies from their shopping trip!! We sat out until 8 ish and then came in for showers and bed. Nick, Katharine and I watched TV for a while before we went to bed too. Unfortunately, it was not a good night's sleep as a couple of cars had pulled in earlier in the evening and they sat up until 4 ish drinking, shouting and acting like pork chops!!
