Monday 28th September - Moving Morning from Carcassonne

We got ourselves organised and had breakfast and did all our packing and went to pick up the car from the parking building about a 10 minute walk away from our apartment.
The car was still there so that was a bonus but there was red and white tape along in front of it but that may be to stop people parking there today or sometime in the future??

We drove out from the underground parking building and set the GPS to get back to the apartment and all went well until the street before the turn off to our street had road works in it and so couldn't go that way.
After lots of turnings as Carcassonne is a lot of narrow one way streets we eventually got to our apartment and Antoine was there waiting for us.
He carried our two cases down the 62 stairs and we packed up our car and after saying goodbye got on the road.
