Sunday 27th September - Medieval City

We had by 1.00pm just about covered all of the areas that we hadn't seen previously and felt that it was time for lunch so we headed back to Place Marcou and thought that we wouldn't have any trouble finding a table amongst all the tables that were previously unoccupied. Wrong!

We finally found a table, number 21, at the back of La Maison de la Blanquette and got the menus. Both of us decided that one course today would suffice so we both settled on duck.

Jan had what I had last night and I have the duck cassolet. Neither of us was disappointed although neither of us managed to quite finish the plate and neither of us had any bread which comes free at every meal.
