Thursday 24th September - Maison du Cassoulet
We came back and got a table in the corner in the outside enclosed yard under the huge tree set in the centre. There were about 20 tables and they were all full.
What attracted us to this place was the set menu for €13.50 which included an entrée, a main course and a dessert.
We had a bit of a wait so we ordered a pichet of vine rouge and settled back to wait. The service was lovely and one of the waitresses had a tee shirt with "Follower" on the front of it. I remarked to Jannie that there was a tee shirt for her and when she looked she was not amused.
We ordered our entrées and mains. Jannie had duck liver salad and then Le Fillet du Poulet . I ordered vege soup and then Cassoulet du Canard et Porc.
When the dishes came they were absolutely divine and we told the chef tht this was the best meal we had had in France, and it was. Brilliant but no room for dessert or cafe.
