Thursday 24th September - Morning Coffee

We did the usual and the new cereal is rather strange. Was meant to be crunchie clusters but got lost in translation somehow and is big flat bits of cereal.
Talked to M&N and the girls and the reception was pretty good for a free call on Face book. A far cry from the days when M&N were over here and rang home collect because they could not afford the cost of the call!!

We went out to La Place Carnot and sat in the sun and had really good coffees.
It was 10.00am and other restaurants were just setting up tables in the square and there was a fruit market down at the bottom part.
There is a lovely Fountain de Neptune the centre and plenty of trees to shelter from the sun.
There was a group of teenage boys dressed in nappies running around the perimeter of the square chanting and yelling. Folks found this amusing. We bought nectarines for €1.49 kg.
