Today we took a cruise down the Thames from Westminster Pier to Greenwich. I had waited for years to see the Cutty Sark but still couldn't because it was hoarded off and under repair since a fire some years earlier. It's supposed to reopen next year. Oh well, will just have to go back another time. The maritime museum was a bit disappointing but the climb up the hill to see the Observatory and the Prime Meridian was worthwhile.
On the return trip, we had to change boats at theTower of London because the tide was too high for the first boat to pass under the bridges. The guide on the cruise boat had a very entertaining banter which made the journey quite enjoyable.
