This morning we started our new routine - up at 6, breakfast at 6:45 and on the bus at 7:30 ready to hit the road for Germany. We arrived in Cologne in the afternoon and had a Bratwurst and a nice potato fritter at the Christmas Markets. We also visited the gothic Cologne Cathedral which was very nice inside. After about an hour in Cologne, we drove to Boppard to enjoy a cruise along the Rhine. Francesco then drove us back to our accomodation called NH Hotel Weinheim where we had pork and mash. After note: Little did we realise at this point that pork was to be a staple while travelling through Europe.
