Our tour guide, Carol met us at Citadines and drove us to Lacock, a beautiful 13th - 14th century village. It was extremely cold and misty which gave a great atmosphere to the place. The aim of the tour was to see many of the locations which had been used in the filming of the Harry Potter movies. At Lacock, we saw Horace Slughorn's house, Lily and James Potter's House and some of Hogwart,s corridors inside Lacock Abbey. We enjoyed some warm mead and a hot roast lunch with a roaring fire at the George Inn in Lacock before heading to Oxford University where we saw many more locations of corridors, the hospital wing, the Yule Ball etc.
Back in London, we were shown the entrance to The Leaky Cauldron, The Ministry of Magic and several, other locations. After 10 hours! of Harry Potter, we were all completely exhausted. Chelsea fell asleep without any dinner while the rest of us went to eat at a small Italian Restaurant off the Strand.
