So just been having a week of classes... but wait not really.
Monday and Tuesday were so laid back I dont remember what I did at all (probably watched movies went to class maybe went to Kardi - yes to get tortillas and milk on Monday I believe).
Wednesday March 9 I woke up and found out about Alan, Kristin, and Michael's plan to go see Miss Saigon (http://www.miss-saigonaustralia.com.au/). Tickets were only $35 for students and it was playing at 1pm. I didn't think I'd be able to order a ticket in time since I only found out that morning, but I finally was able to. Since we had to pick up our (Michael and I ordered online while Alan had picked up ones for himself and Kristin on Tuesday) tickets an hour before the show started and it took about 45 minutes to get there we (Michael and I) left at 10:30 am to go get the tickets. We got there with time to spare, got the tickets, then found a food court type area and got something to eat. Kids meals! Cheeseburgers and chips (fries) that were supposedly "junior" sized - I couldn't even finish mine! Then saw the show at 1pm after finding Kristin and Alan. We were all scattered throughout the theatre except Kristin and Alan were together - Michael had the best seat to everyone's surprise. I cried at the end of the musical. Afterwards Alan, Kristin, and I headed back to Murdoch while Michael went to explore Perth. Incidentally, I missed both my class and my tutorial on Wednesday but I think it was well worth it. Then Wednesday night I watched Silence of the Lambs and some weird French movie (City of Lost Children?). Hello Clarence! (That's just for you Megs!).
Today is Thursday March 10 and I went to my first class which was about how pet cats are killing wild native birds etc and what should be done about it. Apparently now some people are putting these "cat bibs" on their cat's collars that are brightly colored and warn the birds as well as hindering the cat's hunting skills. Crazy. Then we had our group presentations for our "lab" on echinoderms. I think we did well. We definitely had the most color - we werent allowed to use powerpoint (the horror!). I just ate my dinner of 2-minute noodles (I skipped lunch so I was starving after the presentations got over). I might cook some chicken later on for a more filling meal. Otherwise right now I'm just procrastinating because I dont want to study for my test tomorrow. Good news, the test is only 15% of my final grade. But I should still study more for it. Blah. Oooh and I might go play lazer tag tonight (its only for a half hour so not really taking too much study time!). Ok I'm going to end the rant now, cheers!
