Spent a full day in the floral heaven of the Chelsea Flower Show & were so lucky to be there early, had no rain & had bought our tickets when they first went on sale. Apparently the tickets for the whole 6 days sold out almost as soon as they were released so thank goodness for internet booking! We had a thoroughly enjoyable day walking around all the show gardens, floral displays & sales stalls. Had a couple of long conversations with stall holders - one who does intricate machine embroidered scenes and a landscape & flower photographer. Shared our lunch table with a lovely couple who gave us some travel tips for London & Guernsey - it's such a bonus to meet locals - one of the great treats of travel! Our lovely Sarah arrived in the evening with our lovely Torz ( her best friend) who lives & teaches here. Had a great catch-up & dinner then shopping in Primark for more pillows - the ones we have are too flat! Surprised by some of the prices here - 2 pillows for about 12 dollars!
