I was right - not much sleep as the wind kept up all night long. There were a few times I thought we were going to blow over and I was sure there'd be no annexe left in the morning but as daylight came we found everything was OK.

The wind is still extremely gusty (up to 60kms by some reports) so the trip back out to Big Red is postponed. We thought it best to leave the car where it was to act as a wind break and we stayed all day at camp. Well actually, in the van. We watched TV all day and had a visit from Chris and Peter in the afternoon.

The winds gusts stopped and the winds themselves died down a bit in the evening so out in the annexe for dinner and then back in for an early night as we're both quite tired.
