Sunday

Another hot day today so after breakfast we take a drive out to the racecourse and then back into town. We stop at the roadhouse and then walk up to the ruins of the old Hotel, the old hospital and then over to the Birdsville Bakery. Martin had a meat pie and hot chips and I had a curried camel pie - yum. There are a few more trucks in town now getting all set up - food vendors and souvenir stands.

Back at camp we put the front wall up on the annexe to provide a bit more shade in the afternoons. The camper looks good with the whole annexe up. We watch the footy and have a relatively early dinner and call it a night.
