We were up early as we had a long drive to Broome, 800 kms and looking forward to been on the road again and out of Karratha. The drive to Port Hedland was very uninteresting, not much to look at.

At Port Hedland we had a lovely stop visiting Beccy Dyke. Although this was only a short visit it was fantastic to see her. 10.30am and we were on the road again, this time we had another 600 kms to go to get to Broome.

What a long and boring trip there was absolutely nothing to look at but finally we go there at 4.30 pm. After doing a little shopping we went to Ken and Janette's for the night. Sam came over for a barbeque which was nice to see him again. It was a great night catching up but it was hard knowing it would be another 5 months before we saw them all again. Many laughs were had.
