Today Wendy was feeling a little sad knowing that we wouldn't see Sam, Ken and Janette for at least another 5 months at xmas. We drove down the road towards Halls Creek which was about 700 kms and decided to set up tent. Colin made the decision to go to Palm Springs for the night which was 40 kms off the main road. Dusty was all you could say to describe this road but it was just another adventure.

When we finally arrived at Palm Springs Joe went for a walk and found us the perfect site for the night. We were parked right beside the river and totally by ourselves. After setting up the boys made the girls a beautiful fire. It was a fantastic night just so peaceful. All was quiet until the road train carrying hay passed by the camp covering us in dust.
