We were up early as we had a long drive to Broome, 800 kms and looking forward to been on the road again and out of Karratha. The drive to Port Hedland was very uninteresting, not much to look at. Ken, Beau and James had launched the big Noosa Cat last night and we were to meet them at Barred Creek Beach at 7am this morning. After taking a couple of wrong turns and having Janette show us her 4wd skills we made it to the beach around 7:30am. We woke this morning filled with excitement as we were finally going to the Horizontal Falls. We had tried to book this trip when Ang and Jenny were in town but unfortunately they were all booked out then. We were picked up at 11:30am and made our way to the airport. Left the beautiful Quondong Point and went back to Ken and Janette's in Broome. Joe and Col had some maintenance & repairs to do on the vehicles. Joe purchased a new dc to dc charger to keep the battery for our freezer charging and Col got a new auxiliary battery for their fridges.
