Wendy had been wanting a haircut for a while now but couldn't get in anywhere. She made an appointment for 12:30 today so while we waited we went out to Maud’s Landing to have a fish in the bay. Her appointment was cancelled around 10:30 so we hightailed it out of town.
We drove 235km to Carnarvon. By the time we arrived there Col & Wen had decided to continue down the road towards Perth to catch up with their daughters for a couple of nights.
Joe and I booked into a caravan park and headed out in the grey drizzly arvo to look at the One Mile Jetty and Pelican Point. Wasn’t much of a day so we went back to the park and Joe serviced the car and I sat in the van reading.
