It was so very windy there but was lovely to wake up right on the beach in the middle of nowhere.
We left fairly quickly the next morning due to the wind and headed into Cooktown for a wander around and some photo taking.
Left Cooktown via Battlecamp Road and headed towards Musgrave. Along the way we stopped to look at Isabella Falls. They are very pretty.
We stopped at Lake Emma for lunch, checked out the pretty Horseshoe Lagoon which was covered in water lilies and spent some time wandering around the Old Laura Homestead.
We arrived at Musgrave Roadhouse and camping ground at about 4.30pm and set up for the night.
