Waking up in the beautiful campsite in Fitzroy Crossing was amazing. The weather was so beautiful; it was sunny and about 20 degrees. After breakfast we went to Geikie Gorge for a boat trip up the Fitzroy River. The Rock formations were amazing the rich colors a site to be seen. Free camp, beautiful campground and didn't hear a single rifle shot. After bacon and eggs for breaky we all walked to the rim of the meteor Crater. Did you know this crater was created by a 50000 tonne rock travelling at 15 kms per second and left a hole that was 120 m deep, which is now only 20 m deep.
