Crew Frivolous
Left the beautiful Quondong Point and went back to Ken and Janette's in Broome.
Joe and Col had some maintenance & repairs to do on the vehicles.
Joe purchased a new dc to dc charger to keep the battery for our freezer charging and Col got a new auxiliary battery for their fridges.
Tonight we went to the Broome Fishing Club with Sam, Ken, Janette and their family for a lovely home cooked smorgasbord dinner. We saw the Staircase to the Moon across the bay while we were there. This natural phenomenon occurs when the full moon rises over the exposed mudflats at extremely low tide creating an optical illusion of a staircase reaching up to the moon. This only occurs 3 nights each month from March to October.
Back to Ken and Janette’s to watch the footy and the tennis. We sat inside for the first time tonight as it was quite chilly outside (nowhere near as chilly as Victoria). We have all acclimatised to the weather up here as we often put on jumpers and long pants at night.
