Yesterdays wind has all but gone, we woke to flat calm and sunshine. We left at 05.30 as our distance to run is 80 nm. We are motoring and with our new 3 blade propeller we feel we are making about half a knot faster for the same engine speed.

After picking up the weather forecast in Grenaa we had decided to push on for the yard some 250 miles as there looked to be a big storm coming in, next week, we also had some good winds with us. This will be our first time off the yacht in 4 days as we have been sailing and anchoring since we left Grenaa. We are almost out of water and food. After a great evening with Keith and Merete we needed to get some miles done towards the yard. We had a fast sail to here, not much can be said about this place except is is where it needs to be to break up a long passage along the coast, the marina was built in the 1980s and is just that a huge Marina. After what feels like weeks of warm sunshine, sometimes to hot!! There is to be a few days with stronger winds and getting cooler, (still shorts and tee shirts) one of the benefits of sailing here is that things change. We left Sweden for Denmark, well a Danish Island only 30 miles of the coast. We mainly motored but had a couple of hours sailing at the end as the wind shifted.
