B & J`s Adventures
The cover image is a grainy shot of yet another sunken boat with just the top of its mast sticking out from the sea. We sailed the 42 nm from LæsøIsland to Hal's to meet up with a couple from Goring who we play badminton with Merete and Keith, they have a Summer house here and are making us super tonight. We anchored near the unfortunate yacht last night then are spending 2 nights in the town quay. Hal's is at the entrance to the Limfjord a large fjord that cuts right across Denmark to the North Sea. The sea here is salty and has a small tidal range about half a metre. There are 2 huge big ice breaker ships moored up outside, they must be used to keep the waterway open during the winter as it's an important route for commercial shipping.
