Day 35- September 14- 45miles
Leo Carrillo State Park to Redondo Beach
Woke to sun, no fog. Poor sleep- howling coyotes, thundering waves, and constant traffic. Back to Pacific Coast Highway into Malibu, past fancy homes, little beach access or views, mainly saw backs of houses. Found bike path in Will Rogers State Beach, stopped for break, endless beaches, bikers, joggers, and strollers- lots of surfers too!
Rolling waves along perfect beaches, Malibu, it's pier, Santa Monica,Venice Beach, Marina Del Rey(biked around a Hugh boat basin with famous hotels and enormous yachts) cross Bellona Channel. Here we biked behind LAX airport and Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and our final destination, Redondo Beach. Sun, Sand, expensive homes and apartments on the beach-a wonderful life style for some!! Did the laundry and found a yummy local Mexican food place for dinner. In Motel resting. More sun for tomorrow
