Day 32- September 11- 44miles
Pismo Beach to Lompoc
Packed and out of camp- glad to leave- California with all their cut backs are not doing anything for their State Parks, in urban centers! But still charge a lot, also see more homeless! Could not find a Cafe till Arroyo Grande at "Tanner Jacks". Cowboy restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. Even had a grocery store near to stock up. Next 20 miles were through agricultural lands- our food growers. Through Guadalupe, a Mexican town and onto Orcutt (pic) for a break. Next past Vandenberg Air Force Base and a climb and fast descent to a pretty and very clean town of Lompoc, know for floral displays. Had bike shop check brakes and tires, all okay. Found cheap clean Motel- so just catching up on emails, pictures and blog.
