Hello!! So...I am working on getting the trip to London with mom and dad stuff together. Amy and I are compiling our pictures so they should be up soon along with a journal entry to tell you about out fabulous time with Mom and Dad!! Miss you both already!! We were in London Friday through Monday morning so I'll just write about Monday through today I suppose. Monday - We got back to Reading in time for lunch...after lunch I took a nap and unpacked. Then we had dinner, showered, and got ready to go out for a girls night! A bunch of the guys met us in the Swan to see us before we went out (because they went through withdrawl while we were gone of course...haha jk). We then went to Ice bar which is where all the athletes at Reading go on a Monday night and had a lot of fun! I ended up leaving early with Hugh because I was hungry but Renee and Amy stayed a while longer. Hugh and I went to Istanbul and got a couple pizzas. Then went to the guys corridor where we all hung out for a while. When Amy and Renee got back later I went to bed. It was a good night overall. Tuesday - I woke up early because I had a hair appointment in town. I got my hair highlighted because I really couldnt stand the brown anymore. Its a bit lighter but not blonde like before (that was too blonde)! They actually did a really good job...thank god because I was nervous. The appointement took longer than I expected though so Amy and I missed lunch. We ended up getting some stir fry on campus instead which was pretty good. After eating we took naps and then had dinner. Its tuesday which is a big night for a bar called Vodka Revs so we all got ready then and went to the bar. Poor Steve wasnt allowed in because he had on a football (soccer) shirt so he had to pay for another round of taxis! There were nine of us that went...Amy, me, Claire, Simon, Steve, James, Ed, Dan, and Chris. It was a good time but a little drama filled. Whats a night without drama though right? Wednesday - We went to class, bought our tickets for the union, ate lunch, and then took naps (a new daily tradition haha). When I woke up, I showered, ate dinner, and then finished getting ready. We had to try and get to the union early because its sports night and people who play sports for other schools were going to be there. So we got to the union and it was absolutely packed...why because PRINCE HARRY WAS THERE!! No idea that was going to happen. They had the part of the bar he was in blocked off with security guards so we couldnt see him. But we were standing around the area and these guys walked by and we were like hmm, that looked like prince Harry...why because it was him! Too bad we didnt recognize him earlier then we could have gotten a picture. Amy tried to get a pic of him leaning over the railing but it was so dark and she was far away that only one turned out and even that one is not very good (look at it in my pictures). I left the union with the guys and on the way home, one of them decided to jump in the lake...wow. Amy, James, and Si finally left too and we all went to Istanbul to get food. Then we walked back home but when we got back everyone was outside because someone set off the fire alarm. We had to stand outside for a half hour or more! Finally, we went inside and went to bed. It was an interesting night needless to say. Today - We went to class and then showered and went to lunch. After lunch we continued the tradition of taking naps...then went to dinner. And actually (you'll be so proud) we went to the library to do research for our paper due Monday! I cant believe we actually have to do coursework...how sad haha. And now I am trying to update my pictures and everything. I think we may visit the guys for a few minutes later or perhaps just stay here and watch a movie. Who knows! Saturday we go to Bath so thats exciting. Dont forget to look at my new pictures...they are fun! And I will be sure to get all the info and pics up of London soon. I miss and love you all at home.
