Hiya! Just thought I'd update this thing before leaving to go to Paris tomorrow. Tuesday night we went down to the boys like I said we were going to. I talked with Simon for a bit and then Steve introduced me to google earth...only the coolest computer program invented! You should really download it. You can see anything in the world through the earth's satellite. Its not live or anything but still pretty amazing. Wednesday Amy and I went to Insects class in which we had a lab about forensic entomology. We had to try and solve a case using insects...not quite figured it out yet but we're close! We also got to see a dead, decaying rat with maggots eating it. I know your jealous! Haha. After lab we had lunch and then went back on campus to meet with our intro to Human Disease prof. He gave us the information we need to write the essay due in the class...I hate essays...this is miserable! After the meeting, I attempted to take a nap but I just couldnt fall asleep because I had too much on my mind so I took a shower instead and started getting ready for the night out. We went down to the guys corridor around 8 and hung out until 10 or so. Then went to the union. It was a sort of early night though...Simon and I left at 12 and he made us some pasta! Yum! And Amy and the rest left at 1230 or so. Then we hung out for a bit and went to bed. Thursday was kind of boring. Amy and I attempted to do our Ecology assignment that is due for a test but couldnt find any answers haha. I dont like the actual studying part that comes with studying abroad...it takes away from the experience =) Anyways. After dinner we attempted to use the internet to find the answers only coming up with half of them...so we gave up and went down to the boys. Ed was watching Road Trip so we did that for a bit but I was falling asleep so he taught me (tried to teach me) how to throw the rugby ball again. I am getting better which excites me!! But since I am still coughing 24/7 and was tired, I went up to my room early to go to bed while Amy stayed and watched Van Wilder. Today we got up and did laundry...then we had lunch and figured out tonight we are going to go out into town with the guys. Which means I should be packing right now so I am ready for Paris tomorrow but I'd rather be doing this...I hate packing! We're excited for our trip though. We decided we are going to try and make it relaxing with good food, sightseeing, and shopping...NO going out! I will take lots of pictures so all can see them too, promise =) I hope everything is going well at home! Miss and love you. Oh! I uploaded a picture of the guys in the Week 3 and 4 album so you can see the mysterious faces of who we hang out with. Just a run down...Dan hangs around less than all the others, Steve is awesome and we love him, James is the sweetest, Simon is the rugby playing guy, Ed is very nice, and Chris is the quiet one. I will have more pics uploaded this coming week too!
