It's my birthday!!!!

As of today I can officially shake m head and say "teenagers these days!" … feels good!

It is also Australia day, which from what I saw today is just and excuse for everyone in Australia to have the day off work and get bladdered in the pub. Well not everyone got the day off, I for one didn't. I had a 6 hour shift in the café down the road, but it was actually ok I think I am getting used to it now. I am still looking for something better but at the moment its just nice to have some ( emphasis on the some) money coming in. Also Igot $20 tips which is nice, and I got free food so there are some perks.

My birthday party didn't exactly go to plan but I still had an amazing evening ( thanks to the fab oz introers.) We had planned on a barry island style evening at the Lunar Park, but when we got there it was shut. I actually wanted to cry I was so looking forward to my ride on the big wheel. But we ended up in a bar on Akland Street St Kilda. Now this is not normally my type of thing but I actually had a really good night.We just sat and drank and chuckles a lot… and I got a free glass of champs because it was my birthday!! We then moved onto another bar where there was a bit of live music, and I Ricky and I got a first hand viewing of the teenage men on the prowl which was highly amusing. I have to say a big thankyou to the guys who got me a surprise card and cake and managed to sing happy birthday despite having been in the pub all day, and to Ian in particular who put a banana chip on top too make it healthy. …. But boys I know you suggested I leave it in your room when we went out but can i have it back now please ( you better not have eaten it!!!)

So yes in conclusion a good day
