Wednesday was a pathetic day. i was woken up at half8 and told i was being picked up 9 for work. I got there, did an hour of planting trees and then got told that there were too may of us and i was being taken home. I wasnt happy but it meant i got some things done i neeeded to do. I went ino the city, deposited $800 to th bank, bought a work shirt and long sleeve tshirt (protect my arms when working with rose bushes again..)and some anticeptic cream for my arms and then headed home. I ate lunch, grabbed a bath and then watched saving private ryan which was good. I then got a bath watched another film and then went to bed.

Thursday i was up and waiting to see if i had any work but the phone never rang so i had a day off. Not what i wanted but not alot i can do. I recently found out that everyone in the hostel is moving into a local motel as a winery has booked the whole hostel for 40 indians and 10germans as they are starting up a brewing system. I think this is why people aret getting work as often, as cecars mind is on other things. There were 2 other guys off too so we played monopoly, i lost, then i watched a film and had a shower. Then, when another guy came home we played football in the garden, 2v2. It was good fun but hard! Im unfit again...arghhhh. haha. Then we chilled and waited for the new german guy, finn, to get home and make us spaghetti carbonarra which was delsh!i then did the norm, watched and film and went to bed!!

Today i was picked up at 7 by the plumber and we went back to the police staion to finish the job we started the other day. What a day it was. The ceilings were steel with timber on top which made it very difficult to drill thru and the walls were soooo hard again we couldn drill thru easily. It slowed us down immensly which eventually meant we couldnt finish the job and have to go back on mon. I mixed up some concrete for the first time today and filled in a hole and then drill all the pipes onto the walls with brackets and cleaned up. Was a long hard day, didnt get home till half6 ish but was good fun again. We had those burgers again for lunch...amazing! Altho it was a hard day, dean recognised this and gave me an extra $30 which is good! I then came back, had some left over carbonarra with a jacket potato for dinner and had a shower. Now waiting to get to bed, ready for picking oranges tommorow...

Last thing, appologies that its late but i was misinformed by mother, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTY ANNE. hope u had a loveerly day and will hopefully speak to u soon. x x
