Today, Tues i was picked up by the plumber at half8. A good time as this time it was arranged and i coud sleep in a little. The weather varied between sunny and overcast but throughout the day it was extremly windy. At first it was chilly but once i got to work i appreciated it as i was sweating alot! I felt like a little unlce david today, not for the unlce part but i was garnening! Dean has a lot of little hedges and big hedges and he had cut them all over the weekend so i had to carry on ceaning them up. It took ages. I started them yesterday and finished them today. The problem that takes so long is that theres alot of gravel and woodchip so its hard to pick up the leaves and not the other stuff! Anyway i finished that and then got onto digging up some rose plants and re-plantin them in a different order. Needless to say my arms are covered in scratches now! This was a challenge too as he has alot of irrigation pipes running thru the grund which were all idden so i had to search for them all the time before digging. I did actually go thru one but when i told dean he just said 'oh, just the one, i thort u would have gne thru more!' few. After that i was making a 'doorway' thru his conifers at the back of the house as he said that theres not enough space anymore for when he drives his lawnmower thru there. After that i swept all around the house and on te blocked bit of the garden, which was funny as it was still blowing a gail and getting a pile together proved interesting. I then swept the trailor out and then dean returned. He got me to water that roses i had replanted whilst he ad a shower and then dropped me off. I must say, thats on a par with one of the hardest (in a physical way) days work ive done so big respect for david doing it day in day out!! I think a few more of them and then i will be able to challenge u in a gym contest!

sheila Thought I,d have a quick catch up but taken me ages. Seem to remember you thinking of being a plumber but did not fancy unblocking toilets! Very impressed by all your hard work and also your writing skills - bet you writing more now then when you were at school. Missing you here at Arnside. Take care x
