Great Australian West North Expedition (GAWNE)
Day 36. Today the Prado has been dropped off at Kununurra Toyota for a mid trip service. Breakfast at a local cafe then a lazy day reading and washing. We have discovered that a rest day occasionally is good for re-charging and the shore of Lake Kununurra on a Monday is just the place! Reading a fabulous book 'The Duracks of Argyle', very tough early settlers with a splendid vision of the Kimberley focussed on cattle and water. On dusk we witnessed a large migration in the sky of flying fox fruit bats above our van park, and of couse the result on our car! Tomorrow we are going flying. Dinner tonight gourmet lamb sausages on the barbecue, potato bake and vegetables. Fine and sunny, 27 degrees.
