Day 39. Breakfast on the deck at the Fitzroy Crossing Lodge today, traditional land of the Gooniyandi people. Beautiful view out to the river and grassy van park. Drove down to the Old Crossing and stopped for photos. We were amazed at how huge the Fitzroy River must be in full flow in the wet season - presently a dry huge sandy channel with big waterholes but it can rise above 18 metres in the wet!
