It was a perfect day today. Not a cloud in the sky and a day trip to Great Keppel Island booked. We left port at 9:15 for the half hour trip over to the island. We had opted for morning tea, lunch and the glass bottomed boat trip for an extra $45 which seemed good value. The glass bottomed boat trip was sensational with heaps of fish and lovely coral. Our boat driver was a young bloke, but very knowledgeable of all the coral types. Even saw a couple of shipwrecks! Buffet lunch on the main fast cat was lovely followed by 1 1/2 hours on the beach for a walk, icecream and a swim. Left at 2:30 for the return trip back to the port. A wonderful day.
