During the night had a burst of rain, but awoke to blue skies and sunshine, making me wonder if I’d dreamt it! Onward then to Yeppoon, stopping a couple of times for morning coffee and lunch (and diesel). Arrived about 3:30 on an unpowered site but with water which was a bonus! As long as the sun keeps shining we’ll be ok for power. Just as I had that thought I noticed dark clouds moving in! The caravan park was nice, had a water park and an outdoor theatre! Kids shows mostly. We grabbed various brochures and there looked like there was lots to do here so we booked for a few more nights as it’s only $19 per night. Today was Sarah’s birthday so we had a video chat with her as she opened her presents. Had dinner and as usual, got soundly beaten at Scrabble. ( I’m going to have to find a game that I can win!)
