Early fog again today but had cleared by the time we left. It was about 270km to Wagga Wagga, our intended stop for tonight. Stopped in Cowra for morning coffee at a cafe rather than in the van! Extravagant! Then on to Cootamundra for lunch at a nice wayside stop before stooping at a Camp Kurrajong Scout Camp north of Wagga Wagga. Fog and light rain again today but we were leaving today so not too bothered. By the time we got to Mount Victoria the fog had cleared and the sun was out again. Drove via Lithgow to Bathurst where we stopped for coffee and a lap around Mount Panorama race circuit. Continued to a lovely free camp at Carcoar Dam. We found a spot near the lake and levelled the van. There were some $8 bags of firewood nearby but it turned out to burn very poorly and so we got warmer...

Very foggy and rainy today so had a quiet day. Went shopping for a hat and got some more printer ink so we could keep the crosswords going! Made scones in the van and drove to Blackheath and visited the Heritage Centre where we enjoyed a Virtual Reality canyoning trip! Mulled Wine at the Leura Garage Restaurant and pizza (not made with strange fillings) before a movie in the van.

Today we decided to walk to Leura Cascades from our park which was lovely. Had to contend with the coach loads of tourists at Echo Point before continuing on for an hour or so to Leura Cascades which were flowing well. Walked back into Katoomba along the road and had lunch at the Gingerbread House which was lovely then wandered through town looking at murals and interesting shops.
