6:15 alarm as Dave C and I had an 8:00am pickup. The weather wasn’t too bad but the forecast was for more snow and wind. Wild weather forecast today but Dave M was determined to get another day of skiing in and went and bought a lift ticket. Lots more people here now that it’s the weekend and the lift queue was quite long. Dave C and I decided not to ski today and Chris set off on the nordic trails on his X-C skis. The forecast was not good for today but worsening by tomorrow so we used our last pre-purchased lift ticket. The morning was quite good initially but by 11:00am it came in with sleet and snow and strong winds. Reluctantly we returned to the lodge before lunch. Chris braved it after lunch and had some more skiing in between blizzards while we lounged around in the lodge. Dave C cooked us a nice chicken dinner.

Outside again by 9:00am and I got a replacement set of boots which were much more comfortable than the previous pair. Skiied all morning stopping for coffee and lunch but it was not long after lunch when the weather turned nasty with showers forcing us back to our lodge. We ate out at a nearby restaurant and had an early night!

Not as nice a day today but still pretty good. Our legs were aching a little from yesterday but we still got out on the snow before 9:00am. The snow groomers had done their job and the snow was in good shape. Skied mainly on blue runs and we all had a great morning.
