After breakfast we went for a nice walk to the nearby coffee shop! Well, the plan was to walk around Cape Edgecumbe but it was on the way so... Anyhow, the Cape walk was lovely with lots of nice views of the coastline and out to sea. The path was pretty easy going with lots of large rocks, similar to Coles Bay. Departure day from Airlie Beach so got everything organised earlyish! We had made several nice friends during our stay so saying goodbye was a bit sad. Hit the road and drove to a restaurant called Northerlies, unsurprisingly north of Airlie Beach. Had coffee and they kindly gave us some complimentary cake as there had been a baby shower the day before! Onward then to Dingo Beach and Hydeaway Bay.
