More rain during the night and fine in the morning. Could I be just having a recurring dream? Nah! Things were a bit wet outside so I don’t think I’m imagining things! Today we decided to visit Capricorn Caves which is back towards Rockhampton so had a fairly leisurely morning dealing with burst water pipes at our son’s house (in Hobart!)etc. Lisa made lunch and we drove to the caves and ate our lunch in the grounds. The caves were lovely and mostly above ground so not as cold as we are used too. The puffer jacket may have been overkill! The guide was great and made for a fun trip and we even survived the ‘Tunnel of Death’ as she called it. (It was nothing compared to the ‘Matchbox Squeeze’ at Exit Cave back home in Tassie) Back to Yeppoon for a resupply mission and an exciting hour walking around Woolworths.
