Moving on day today so we had a nice breakfast outside in the sunshine and a walk along the nearby beach before hooking up and leaving Yeppoon. Crossed the Tropic of Capricorn again at Rockhampton, had lunch at Mount Larcom before arriving at Tannum Sands where we had booked an unpowered site for a night. The park was nice although the unpowered area was rather ‘wooded’ and we spent a fun half hour doing a reverse slalom run through the trees trying to find a suitable spot to settle. After a stiff drink and a short rest we went for a bike ride along a lovely track near the beach before a short drive to Boyne Island and a drive past the Aluminium smelter. Pizza for dinner, (Lisa, Coleslaw is not a pizza topping!) and a nice fire.
