No sign of rain this morning, waking to another perfect Qld. day! Also had discovered that the last time I filled the caravan’s water tanks and carefully placed the filler cap on the power post next to the van, I’d neglected to refit it. It’s probably still on the post at Cape Palmerston Caravan Park which is unfortunate as we are in Yeppoon! Never mind, a short 45 minute drive to Rockhampton and we found an RV shop that had spares, sadly the only one that also had a key was black! Still, beggars can’t be choosers. During the 45 minute return leg we turned off to Byfield National Park, although the Park bit is near the coast and the non Park that we spent most of the day in seemed to have a fair bit of clear-felling! The bits with trees were quite nice and we had lunch at Red Rock campsite, a nice spot (apart from the crocodile warning signs). On then to Nob Creek Pottery for a look at lovely pottery and amazing kilns. Went for a short walk before returning to the van.

Chris Waller Unlike Tassie then, cold with forecast snow, rain and wind! Glad you are still enjoying the sunshine!
Chris Waller I'll bet that kiln would make great pizzas!!!
