The free camp at Yaamba has been our busiest spot yet and I am surprised because those road trains are soooo loud but thankfully the boys slept right through it. There were a few truckies who I'm sure thought it was hilarious to blast their horn in the middle of the night as they went past all the campers. We went into town to fix the air con, get a new tyre, go to the laundromat & also visit Bunnings and Super Cheap Auto. Our first time using a laundromat and after the $18 it cost I’ll go back to washing the old fashioned way. We did have a lot of washing though because all our sheets were wet from packing up the camper in the rain the night before. Hopefully we can try something new next time and avoid the mattresses getting wet. Luckily we have had only 1 day of rain and are back to forecasted sunshine for at least the next week. Unlike to the south of us who are getting smashed with bad weather including our Brisbane unit which has water coming through the roof. There’s no such thing as bad things happening at a good time but the timing could have been better seeing we had it repainted and put brand new carpet in two weeks ago and new tenants moved in two days ago.

We had an easy afternoon hanging around camp and playing with the kids.
