With an early start, we drove through Lakefield National Park (QLD’s second biggest National Park) and Battle Camp Rd to get to Elim Beach. We drove the Somerset beach track which wound through a few beaches. It was once again extremely windy and there was lots of rubbish on the beaches so I wouldn't rate it too highly. Today we made it to "the tip" of Australia! It is very windy but also a very beautiful spot.
