We drove through to Mackay this morning stopping in at Hay Point to see one of the world's largest coal terminals. The people who work here have a nice outlook everyday. There are two terminals both owned and operated by BHP. One wharf is 1.8km long out to sea, the other 3.8km and they load up about 900 ships a year.



We are camping at the Big4 Caravan Park for 2 nights and it has been great so far. We all went for a swim and they also have a waterpark, waterslide and a shallow pool for the kids.




This afternoon we also discovered the toy room which the boys loved and we could watch t.v. while the boys played.

We still have to give the mini golf a go and there is a playground, maze and lagoon to explore.
