Today we spent the day by the beach, kids playing happily so gave us time to do what we wanted.
In the afternoon we went fishing but only Matt managed to catch 2 small fish. Zach and I decided to make our first cake in the camp oven but unfortunately the wood was really bad quality and didn't make very good coals. We put it in anyway and it is cooking very slowly and are just hoping it will have enough heat to cook through.
Liam decided to explore the car today and found a nice hole (exhaust pipe) to put his hands up and proudly showed dad his black hands. Of no surprise to us, but he also likes to eat BBQ Shapes 3 at time and sultana’s by the handful which means he isn’t occupied for long and is soon saying "more".
We will leave Carmila Beach tomorrow and I am pretty sure it will remain a favourite of the whole trip. It is an absolutely beautiful spot, great for kids and is free!
