We all had a sleep in this morning, staying in bed until after 830am! After breakfast the plan was to start schoolwork but as the sun was shining that soon got vetoed and we drove into Yamba for a long walk along the foreshore instead! We've decided to have this week off as school holidays to recuperate from gastro properly!! We parked at the beach and walked along the path by Yamba Bay as far as possible with the kids on their scooters - it felt great to get some decent exercise. On the way home we bought some fresh bread for lunch and spent the afternoon relaxing in the sun at the caravan park. The kids hit the water park although didn't last too long before needing a hot shower and so they were all in their pj's by 4pm!! Nick made everyone dinner and we spent a quiet evening inside the van. On the odd toilet trip we spotted a few bandicoot running around the grounds!
