Woke to yet another beautiful in Kiama and had coffee watching the ocean. The kids were in no rush for breakfast so Nick and I had a lovely long uninterrupted chat, which is quite unusual!! Nick made everyone pancakes while I did the laundry and then he began schoolwork while I went in to town to stock up on supplies for Sydney. I went for a walk down the high street first and found a new pair of sunglasses within 5 minutes, as I smashed mine a couple of days ago. Then I went to make an appointment with a beautician and she could see me straight away. It was all going so well that I walked to the newsagents to check our lotto ticket and realised I'd left it in Nick's wallet - I'm sure we've won though!! I did a very quick food shop and then went home and helped with the schoolwork - I defiantly had the better deal this morning! After lunch we all went to the beach but it was a bit overcast so Nick and I didn't swim. We didn't last as long as usual as it started to rain but it was only a few spots. We showered the kids, washed all the bathers and then went for a lovely walk to the blowhole - Kiama really is a magic spot. Back at the van, Nick packed up the top of the car and I made some meals for the freezer. Matty chose dinner tonight - sausage and mash with onion gravy! It went down a treat.
