Another fabulous day hiking at Karijini NP. Today we went to the Fortescue falls, Fern pool and walked through the gorge to the circular pool. We swam at the falls and the fern pool but there were leaches in the circular pool so we gave it a miss. Kaidan was keen to do more so he and Jeff went for a walk around Kalamina falls while Josh I rested. I started sorting the 1000 photos I've taken already! Had a fantastic day hiking and swimming through gorges! We went to the Oxer lookout, then around and down the Weano Gorge to handrail pool. We then qent down the Hancock Gorge to Kermits pool, a gorgeous deep green pool. Everything is covered in red dust! This evening we just drove for 1/2 hour to get reception to speak to Mielikki who is in hospital recovering from viral encephalitis. Well worth it, reassuring to know she is doing well!

We woke up early this morning and enjoyed the view from our camper over the billabong. The cattle soon joined us to drink. We were on the road by 9am and had a long day driving to Karijini NP, stopping for fuel and supplies at Tom Price. The rocky hills through the Pilbara are beautiful and interesting. After one last snorkel, we left Coral Bay and drove to Mia Mia station, a 518, 000 acre station part-owned by Mal (Rod and Leanne's neighbor in Moordalup). We set up camp next to a billabong and are enjoying being just the 4 of us - the first time for a while. We all need a goodnight sleep as we had a group of drunken lads camped next to us last night! We watched a huge full moon rise!

Swim, swim, swim. Today we started the day with a swim in the caravan park swimming pool, then took a drive along 4WD tracks up the beach to another snorkeling area called the Lagoon. We then went down the track and did a long snorkel at five fingers. The coral was a bit more colorful and great fish. We also a white Moray eel. Tonight we are out to dinner :)
