Arrived safely after heaps of 4WDing and dust!! It looks like an idyllic campsite - beautiful white sand, blue ocean and not another sole around. The fish were biting - the boys caught lots of salmon, a flathead, a gummy shark and a sand whiting!
However the wind came up after dark and the tent shook, the canvas stretched, the sand moved over one end of the camper - we slept very little and got up frequently overnight to tie down awnings etc. The boys slept better on their stretchers which helped to hold down the tent!!
This morning Rusty winched us out of the sand and we're on our way to Malcolm point for more fishing!
Still have freeloading mouse on board - thought I'd repacked everything he could chew but he ate some hot chocolate sachets last night!
