Cranes Aussie Adventure
We browsed the Broome shops this morning then drove up to Cape Leveque. The 200km road is sealed for the first 10km and the last 100km. The 90km in between is sandy and has been graded often, pushing the sand to the sides, so at times you feel like you are driving in a deep dry river bed. No wonder they close the road when it rains. We are camping at Kooljaman - an Indigenous tourist facility.
Cape Leveque is beautiful with multicolored red/orange/yellow rocks against white sands and the blue ocean. Apparently no crocs on the quiet side of the cape??
